1,000 Ravens for Peace...by To-Ree-Nee Wolf. Ravens have had a mystical hold on the human imagination for eons. This bird with it's contradictory symbolism has connections with many cultures around the world; from Scandinavia to the Pacific Northwest. Members of the corvid family, Ravens are playful, intelligent, amorous and clever. They also share a deep and profound bond with Wolves. Their deep black color connects them with great mystery, magic and intuition. Ravens are also symbolic of healing and the gift of new consciousness. The gold wings of my stylized Ravens represent Shamanic Flight, dreaming and the offer of personal and global healing. Plus black and gold; how groovy is that. And the glitter? Well, everyone knows that glitter is full of magic. Ghandi said, "Be the change you want to see." So I'm sending my Ravens out into the void. Five dollars from each Raven sold will be donated to KIVA.org, which makes micro-loans to people around the world. The Hopi's say we are the ones we have been waiting for.... The Ravens are waiting for you. To purcahse your Raven go to pjmcardle.com and visit the Ravens in the gallery section. Visit kiva.org for information about their organization.
